At Clement Hyundai, being part of the St. Louis community means more than helping people find the right vehicle. It also means showing up for causes that matter to the families, friends, and neighbors who make our community what it is.

That is why we were proud to once again participate in Pedal the Cause, an annual event that brings thousands of people together in support of cancer research.

This year marked the 17th year of Pedal the Cause. Riders, volunteers, supporters, families, and organizations gathered at the Family Arena with a shared goal: helping create a world without cancer.

For our team at Clement Hyundai, returning to the event was another opportunity to stand alongside our community and contribute to a cause that has an impact far beyond a single weekend.

A Community United Against Cancer

Pedal the Cause has grown into a major community effort supporting innovative cancer research in the St. Louis region.

Since 2010, the organization has raised more than $56 million to support hundreds of cancer research projects at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids.

One of the things that makes Pedal the Cause especially meaningful is its commitment to directing participant-raised funds toward cancer research. The event helps researchers pursue promising ideas and projects aimed at improving the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer.

Behind those numbers are real people.

Cancer affects individuals and families in communities everywhere. Events such as Pedal the Cause give people an opportunity to come together, remember loved ones, support those currently facing cancer, and help advance research that may benefit patients in the future.

More Than a Cycling Event

While cycling is at the heart of Pedal the Cause, the event represents much more than a bike ride.

It brings together people from across the region who share a commitment to fighting cancer. Some participate because of their own experience with the disease. Others ride in honor or memory of someone they love. Volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, and supporters also contribute to making the event possible.

That collective effort is what has allowed Pedal the Cause to continue growing over the years.

Seeing thousands of people gather at the Family Arena is a reminder of what can happen when a community rallies around a common purpose.

We were honored to participate in Pedal the Cause again this year.

Community involvement has long been important to Clement Hyundai, and we appreciate opportunities that allow our team to support organizations and events making a difference throughout the region.

Returning to Pedal the Cause was particularly meaningful because of the scope of its mission. Cancer touches so many lives, and supporting research gives communities a tangible way to contribute to the ongoing search for better treatments and outcomes.

Supporting the Communities We Serve

Our connection to the community doesn't end when someone drives away from our dealership.

The people who visit Clement Hyundai are also our neighbors. They're parents, business owners, teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, students, and members of families throughout the region. Supporting community initiatives is one way we can give back to the people who continue to support us.

Pedal the Cause is an excellent example of the difference that can be made when businesses, organizations, families, and individuals work toward the same goal.

Seventeen years of Pedal the Cause represents thousands of participants, countless hours of volunteering, and more than $56 million raised since 2010. Most importantly, it represents a community that continues to come together around the hope of a future without cancer.
